Dude, I don’t know. The difference with her stuff (for me) is that she acknowledges that he respects her as much as she respects him. I’ve never felt respected by Alan, or especially Darlene. I understand that I was a kid, but I don’t know if that’s enough for me to excuse her judgment of me. ESP. growing up with Mom, and having her treat us like adults.
So yeah, she can say things about growing up LDS that I can understand, but it doesn’t translate for me because she is loved for her no-pants wearin’ self. I think I’m past that with Alan.
