daydream believer
| April 16th, 2008 at 19:19 |About a thousand years ago, Ian wrote a post about daydreaming and dishes, and I’ve never forgotten it. They’re two activities that go very well together, and whenever I do either, I think of that post.
Today while I was washing dishes, I was rocking out and a couple songs came on that reminded me of when I first started watching music videos.
Stone Temple Pilots - Sour Girl
AFI - Girl’s Not Grey
Björk - Army of Me
Tool - Stinkfist
NIN - Closer
I’d never seen anything like these. None of them are particularly groundbreaking, but they all made me realize that there could be more to music videos than what The Thong Song or The Grundy County Auction could provide. Also, writing this post reminded me that a couple weeks ago I found this video and it basically ruined the song for me.
