Merry Christmas !

Today is good. Today I woke up at 5:30, stuffed Marcus’ stocking, and put it next to the iBook for him to find when he woke up. But then I couldn’t get back to sleep, so about 6:00, I woke him up to make him pass me the computer. BWA HA HA HA HA! Inside I had put tons of candy, some chemical toe warmers, a sudoku book, and an orange.

Then we came downstairs to open presents. Let’s see … I got some scrubs he had made for me. Then he got me the complete Blues Traveler. There is a story here. The other night, we were watching one of those VH1 shows, I think it was I Love the 90s. I mentioned to him that Blues Traveler, and to a lesser degree Counting Crows, always makes me want to write music. I’ve never owned a Blues Traveler album in my life, but whenever they come on the radio, I just feel all bursting with … something. So he apparently spent the rest of the days since then downloading and burning them onto cds for me.

Alix, he also got me DDR (and dance pad), so pack your bags because you’re coming ove.r

The other presents from Marcus were A CLEAN HOUSE and it is awesome. And also he bought me a new motherboard, but it won’t get here until Tuesday or Wednesday. Then maybe I can Sims!

My parents got me a really nice necklace, Spaceballs (which, unfortunately, I already have … Alix, do you have any suggestions? Did they get you a movie that you’d want to trade or something, after you move out? I don’t want to hurt their feelings.), and a cookbook. It’s the 1953 edition of the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. The plaid one, you know?

We got Family Guy Season 3 from everyone’s favorite pies. They also got us The Big Book of Filth.

Marcus’ sister & brother-in-law got us Kung Foo Hustle.

And then Alix got me Fiona Apple’s new cd.
